Telemedicine, now more than ever, focuses on the individual needs of the patient. Increasingly patients are being armed with tools that inform and help them direct their care. These include coaching and remote monitoring in the home to support chronic disease self-management, online mental health solutions, and the ability to initiate virtual visits with primary care providers.
Making it easy for patients to access validated services from the comfort of home, and equally simple for clinicians to integrate them into their practice, is driving the evolution of telemedicine.
