The Alberta Medical Association's Toward Optimized Practice (TOP) has been building improvement capacity in primary care through the Alberta Screening and Prevention initiative (ASaP). To improve their screening care, clinics across the province took steps to optimize the use of their EMR. Clinics developed new processes for robust reporting, clinical decision support and tools or patient panel management. This webinar shared the results of the improvement in offers, of preventative screening, as well as the EMR lessons learned as they relate to the National Change Management Framework.
