The National Physician Survey (NPS) released in December 2014 revealed significant growth in family physician adoption and use of electronic medical records (EMRs), increasing 54 percentage points to 77 per cent between 2006 and 2014!
Canada Health Infoway analyzed the 2014 NPS data to determine whether primary care physician perceptions of EMR impact on quality of care and practice productivity varied by the length of time physicians had used an EMR or the range of EMR functions they used.
In addition to sharing the results of this analysis, the webinar will feature the experiences of a British Columbia program that worked with physicians to increase clinical value by advancing EMR maturity.
