The certification process has four steps:
STEP 1. APPLY
Applicant
- Request and review certification requirements
- Seek clarification with Infoway assessors
- Prepare self-assessment attestations and documentation
- Sign certification agreement and pay fee
STEP 2. ASSESS
Infoway Assessors
- Complete an administrative review of the application
- Evaluate the self-assessment
- Witness solution demonstrations and presentations
- Clarify self-assessment responses with the applicant
180 days
STEP 3. CERTIFY
Infoway
- Prepare final assessment report
- Make the certification decision
- Issue certification letter or denial
Applicant
- Use the Mark of Conformity in marketing materials
STEP 4. MAINTAIN
Applicant
- Notify Infoway of material changes to your certified solution
- Infoway and Applicant
- Monitor and report adverse events
