With Christmas just around the corner you might wonder, why with great glee, I’ve marked December 15 as “the special day” in my calendar. My eager anticipation of this date actually started on November 8, the launch of the Infoway 2016 LEADing Practice Challenge.
In truth, my anticipation and what I’ve come to think of as the “Spirit of Christmas” started much earlier this year when my Infoway Consumer Health colleagues agreed to partner with us by offering their highly successful “ImagineNation Challenge” approach for a Challenge focused on consumer health technologies LEADing practices.
Find out more about the 2016 LEADing Practice Challenge – including what the “LEAD” in LEADing Practices means and all you’ll need to know about how to participate. Take up the challenge to tell us how you are improving the patient experience by using consumer digital health technologies for a chance to earn part of $12,000 in available awards!
In addition to the warm and fuzzy feelings created because of the support provided by one Infoway team to another — much like being with your family over the holidays, I’ll also be feeling that Christmas spirit when on the night of December 14 I’ll barely be able to sleep for thinking about what the morning will bring. Only this time it won’t be because I’m six years old and wondering what Santa left under the tree — instead I’ll be thinking about and eagerly anticipating the amazing LEADing Practice Challenge submissions I hope we’ll receive by the entry deadline of 3 p.m. on December 15.
