This scholarship offers up to $5,000 per student to help clinical learners interested in learning more about digital health. The scholarship is designed to support the costs of enrolling in a digital health program, and eligible programs may cover a range of topics, including interoperability, terminology & exchange standards, electronic health records and health information systems, digital health innovation, healthcare data analytics, and/or digital health policy.
“Infoway is excited to offer this scholarship to students across the country who are passionate about shaping the future of healthcare,” said Abhi Kalra, EVP of Connected Care at Canada Health Infoway. “By empowering students with the knowledge and skills needed to drive interoperability and innovation, this scholarship not only supports their educational journey but also plays a key role in advancing connected care and inspiring the next generation of healthcare leaders in Canada.”
Students currently enrolled in accredited post-secondary clinical programs or those who have recently graduated in Canada can learn more about eligibility and apply here. Applications are due by Nov. 22 at 5 p.m. ET, and successful recipients will be notified in December.
The Connected Care Clinical Student Scholarship is the second initiative from the Infoway Centre for Clinical Innovation in Digital Health (CIDH), which supports national efforts to accelerate the adoption of healthcare interoperability. Through the CIDH, Infoway continues to drive initiatives that encourage engagement with clinical leaders and learners, supporting the adoption of connected care solutions.
