This BMC Medical Informatics and Decision Making journal article summarizes the results of six provincial and territorial surveys, conducted between 2006 and 2014, about interoperable electronic health records (iEHRs): system, information and service quality; iEHR use and user satisfaction; and net quality and productivity benefits. Overall, users view iEHRs and their effect on productivity and quality of care positively.
