While the use of virtual care has increased since the onset of COVID-19, certain challenges remain. Clinicians needs the right tools and training to optimize their use of virtual care. Canada Health Infoway and Healthcare Excellence Canada (HEC) have partnered to launch the Clinician Change Management project, which will support clinicians and other health workers through sharing resources, best practices and toolkits. As part of this initiative, Infoway and HEC have launched the Virtual Care Together Design Collaborative which aims to trial a set of resources and refine supports needed for community-based primary care providers to implement and evaluate quality and safe virtual care services.
