Connected Care Clinical Student Scholarship
Scholarship Overview
The Connected Care Clinical Student Scholarship, the second initiative under our Centre for Clinical Innovation in Digital Health, offered up to $5,000 per student to help clinical learners interested in pursuing an educational digital health program.
Aligned with our Shared Pan-Canadian Interoperability Roadmap, this scholarship aims to empower clinical learners to pursue education in eligible programs that advance and support future adoption of digital health, interoperability, and Connected Care.
Scholarship Recipients
Infoway awarded 17 students with the Connected Care Clinical Student Scholarship, totaling an investment of more than $75,000.
The successful recipients come from diverse clinical backgrounds, including medicine, nursing, pharmacy, and physiotherapy and represent institutions from across the country, including the University of Calgary, Memorial University Newfoundland, Toronto Metropolitan University, the University of Toronto, and the University of New Brunswick.
Recipients will use the scholarship to pursue education in programs covering a range of subjects, including interoperability, terminology and exchange standards, electronic health records and health information systems, digital health innovation, healthcare data analytics, and digital health policy.
